LPA Establishes National Beta Club Chapter
In November 2024, Life Preparatory Academy proudly launched its first-ever chapter of the National Beta Club, making history with six distinguished student members. Rooted in the Beta Club’s core tenets of achievement, character, leadership, and service, this milestone aligns powerfully with LPA’s mission to transform minds, educate with excellence, and empower future leaders. Our inaugural scholars exemplify academic excellence and a heart for service, setting the standard for a legacy of impact and integrity at Life Prep.
Beta Club Celebrates New Inductee and Officers for 2025-2026

Life Preparatory Academy’s (LPA) National Beta
Club inducted a new member into their chapter on during an online ceremony on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Miss Alicia Silva, an LPA 10th grader officially became a member during the ceremony as she pledged to uphold the Beta Club Pillars of Achievement, Character, Leadership, and Service. Established Beta members participated in the ceremony and recited the meanings of each pillar to remind new and old members of their core values as they work together as a team.
Additionally, newly appointed officers officially took their pledges of duty during the ceremony. Each officer promised to uphold the duties of their office and lead while adhering to the treasured pillars of Beta Club. The officers for the 2025-2026 school year are as follows:
President - Carrington Scott (11)
Vice-President / Treasurer - Destiny Padgett (11)
Secretary - Taya Penn (11)
Historian / Reporter - Micah Torbert (11)
Several parents attended with their scholars to witness this special day. Scholars were reminded about the upcoming service project and encouraged to bring their ideas to the next official meeting. Mrs. Padgett, club sponsor and Lead Principal, closed the meeting with congratulatory and encouraging remarks for our new and established members: "We look forward to an outstanding year of achievement, leadership, character, and service from each of our members. Let's continue to rise together, Eagles!"
